Mr. Hopf was my 6th grade teacher. One of those many mentors and influences from my youth for which I am always grateful. Peace and prayers to all as you go through this difficult time.

Marv was my teacher his first year in Lake Linden. Also my Driver’s Ed. Instructor. With me being raised in Gay, and returning for a visit each summer, I would often run in to Marv. I enjoyed his friendliness and positive outlook on life. My sympathy to his family.

Love always Renee and Dean Chapman

The best father-in-law, ever and the most loving mother-in-law a kid could ask for. So sorry for your loss, the Hopf family. I know your pain

With our warmest condolences, we ordered a tree to be planted in Marv's memory. We almost always found him tending his gardens and plants.
