Obituary for Eunice Yvonne Kowalski (Wuori)
Eunice Kowalski of Fulton, Michigan passed away on June 7, 2023, at the Iron River Care Center in Iron River, Michigan. Eunice was born on January 9, 1935, in Laurium, Michigan to Hubert Wuori and Alida (Hendrickson) Wuori.
Eunice graduated from the local high school in Lake Linden, Michigan. She met the love of her life, William Kowalski and they were married on May 10, 1958. Eunice worked as an office assistant for F&M Mutual Fire Insurance until she retired in 2000.
Eunice enjoyed doing her crafts, creating many blankets, Afghans and rag rugs. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Bethany Lutheran Church for families in need and spent time volunteering for the rummage sales in Gay, Michigan. She also enjoyed snowmobiling with her husband and family.
Eunice is preceded in death by her parents Hubert and Alida Wuori, sister Trudy Wuori, brother Hubert Wuori, and her husband William Kowalski.
Eunice is survived by her nephew William Hahn and his wife Kathy.
A service for Eunice Kowalski will be held at Erickson-Crowley-Peterson Funeral Home in Calumet, Michigan on Friday, June 16th at 11:00 am with a visitation from 10:00-11:00 am at the Erickson-Crowley-Peterson Funeral Home. The burial will take place at Lake View Cemetery.
