Gregory P. Salo, age 59, a resident of Calumet passed August 15, 2022 at the Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, Wisconsin after a short battle with cancer.

Greg was born in Highland Park, MI on January 4, 1963 to the late Emil A. Salo and Dorothy B. Salo.

He later moved with his father to Dollar Bay, MI where he spent most of his childhood and was a 1982 Graduate of Dollar Bay High School.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Emil and Dorothy brothers George Salo and Gary Anderson, sister Gail Anderson, and nephew Bill Salo.

Surviving are his Children, Derek Salo of Hancock and Lindsay (Todd Gajewski) Brouillette of Hancock. 2 grandchildren Sheianne Brouillette and Austin Gajewski Special cousin Lew (Jan) Savela. of Arizona. Nieces Brenda (Seth) Harjala, Margie Salo-Dubois, Nephews Siwa'Tu Spikes and Andy Salo.

He's also survived by his step-grand children; Sondra, Bradley, Evie, Dacian and Kaleb and Step-children; John, Jeff and Justin.

Greg was one of a kind and he will live on in the memory of those who knew and loved him.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
